Gramin Samaj Vikas Kendra is presently working in rural and urban locations, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, and Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh, with poor marginalized communities with a focus on women, Dalits, small & marginal farmers. Women empowerment is being addressed by SHGs promotion, income generation activities, building their capacity for ensuring their participation in the panchayat, and entitlement realization. Environment, education, skill development, capacity building training, sanitation & hygiene, and awareness is created among community members in communities and among children in schools. By use of technical knowledge of the organization and mobilizing community contribution for skill training, empowering adolescent girls and women. Training has been provided to small & marginalized farmers on organic farming and low-cost, sustainable agricultural practices. By using the strength and assertion skills of assumptions, the eligible community members have benefited from social security schemes and other development programs like SGSY. The organization is providing training to adolescent girls/youth groups. The organization is also contributing to the accessibility of health services through the Health Investigation Center. Inputs have been provided to community members, and leaders of community-based organizations, which has resulted in the adoption of organic farming.
